For Speakers
Are all speakers in the proposal required to register for the conference?
Yes. All participants must register together with the proposal submission. If you do not yet know the final names but plan to include co-speakers, you must indicate this in the registration. The more accurate your proposal submission, the higher its chances of being accepted.
Is the conference online or in person?
The conference is primarily held in person, and all participants are expected to attend onsite. However, if requested in advance, we may be able to accommodate limited online participation. Please note that online attendance is not guaranteed and is subject to approval.
Will my session be recorded?
Yes, sessions will be recorded in selected rooms only. If you do not wish your session to be recorded, please specify this in the registration form.
How many co-speakers can I add to my proposal?
A maximum of three contributors may be included in one proposal. However, we prefer submissions with multiple speakers from different institutions, countries and perspectives.
Can all speakers be from the same institution?
Yes, this is possible. However, we strongly encourage diversity in terms of institutions and countries represented.
Do speakers need to register and pay to attend the conference?
All speakers are required to register for the conference, but they do not pay a participation fee. For selected proposals, we cover accommodation for the duration of the conference.
What is covered for speakers by the conference organizers?
We cover accommodation for the full duration of the conference as well as travel expenses ranging from €70 to €1,000. Only travel that both begins and ends in the country of the speaker’s institution is eligible for reimbursement.
Special conditions may apply. Please contact us if you have any questions.
